What should I do before receiving Alumier chemical peels?
Avoid the use of hair removal procedures and products of any kind on the intended treated area two weeks before the treatment. In addition, do not use any acid products, exfoliators, retinoids, or retinol for 48 hours before treatment. This includes AHAs, BHAs and PHAs.
Prior to your appointment, it’s critical that you inform us of any medication or medical health changes. On the day of the peel, please arrive makeup-free.
What is the aftercare for Alumier chemical peels?
After your Alumier chemical peel:
- Do not touch, pick or scratch the skin after treatment.
- Avoid creams, cleansers, or scented products.
- Avoid using tanning or fake tanning products.
- Avoid retinol, exfoliants, and acids for 48 hours.
- Use a clean pillowcase.
- You may lightly cleanse with a non-perfumed cleanser and apply an SPF 30 after 24 hours.
- Use the post-procedure kit provided by your specialist.
How Many Alumier Chemical Peel Sessions Do I Need?
